Let the adventure begin

about
aurora pack 255
We are based in Aurora, CO and are a growing pack of fun! Hiking, camping and fishing are just the tip of the iceberg of adventure for us, as we also ensure all scouts have the resources they need to make rank. So don’t miss out and come join us for adventure and once in a lifetime opportunities!!!
Our dens
Lion
Starting out in the Kindergarten-age level, scouts and their parent or caring adult partner join Scouting together. The Lion program encourages youth to learn and explore through hands-on, high-energy activities. Youth are recognized for their accomplishments as they work towards the Lion badge.
Tiger
Tiger Den is then next level for Cubs, and is for scouts in the First grade (or those who are 7 years old) and their parent or caring adult partner. The Tiger Cub den builds stronger families through involvement in a program that is flexible and fun for the Cubs, all while building off of the skills learned in the Lion program.
Wolf
The Wolf Scouts program builds on skills learned in previous Scouting years, but can also be a good starting point for new Scouts. Second graders (or who are eight years of age) and their parent or caring adult partner, will play games, learn outdoor skills and work together to help their community.
Bear
The Bear Den is the forth rank a Cub can earn, and is typically achieved in the third grade. The path to the Bear rank is full of opportunities for Cubs to learn new skills, explore their interests, and of course, have plenty of fun along the way! They will also focus on hobbies, physical fitness, and learning about one’s community. Scouts can earn recognition for their accomplishments and gain a sense of personal achievement from the skills they learn.
Webelos
An acronym for “We’ll Be Loyal Scouts”, the Webelos program is designed to prepare Cub Scouts to join a Scouts Troop. This den is for youth who are in the forth grade (or who are ten years old) and will have a bit less of parental and caring adult involvement, as they will take on more of a support roll. Scouts will gain a variety of new experiences that will help them assume responsibilities and gain maturity, knowledge and skills.
Arrow of light
The highest rank in Cub Scouting, the Arrow of Light den is the transition between Cub Scouts and Scouts. This den, for youth in fifth grade (or who are 11 years of age), is much like the Cub Scouts dens, but there is more emphasis on the Cubs learning to take leadership roles and preparing to become part of a Troop.
